Supplement 34 recorded LIVE at COC Perth

"Lift Up Your Eyes" is the latest Resource release - the "Best of the Best" praise and worship songs, chosen from several hundred of the latest songs from Australia and worldwide.
It was recorded live on a Sunday night, with a choir pooled from many different churches in Perth. The songs are refreshing, inspiring, contemporary, a reflection of the dynamic praise and worship that has swept into churches of all denominations in recent years.

A good, lively opening song. Great, positive words that uphold the high purpose of the church and our delight in being here in the midst of it. Positive, rousing music and words. From Perth, W.A.

An old Vineyard song revived in modern style. Good, solid words, not difficult. A capella works well. Can be sung fast or slow.

944 All of My Days - Mark Stevens
From Hillsong. A lovely song of praise. Medium pace. Not difficult to sing or play.

945 All the Earth - Andrew Ulugia and Wayne Huirua
A Parachute song, from New Zealand. Beautiful words and melody. Use early in the service ("into your courts I will enter"). Medium pace. Not difficult.

946 I Lift Up My Hands - Israel Houghton and Ricardo Sanchez
A song that has us revelling in the delight and joy of praise to God. A declaration of a love for and surrender to God. Medium pace. Israel Houghton is a powerful and anointed worship leader. From Integrity.

Based on Psalm 27, expressing our desire to know God intimately. Medium pace. Starts quietly, builds to an intensity in the bridge and ends with a quiet affirmation of commitment "My heart is set on you". From Perth, W.A.

From Hillsong. A great, fast, opening song. Powerful encouragement to praise - "Let everything...praise the Lord!"

951 In the Shadow of Your Wings - Dawn Hannell
Based on Psalm 63:6,7 - reminding us of our security and protection in the shadow of God's wings and out heart response to him. A pretty and gentle song, light folk style. From the Perth church that hosted the recording.

952 My Saviour, Redeemer - Nolene Prince
A song from the heart, expressing our overwhelming desire to praise God for what he has done for us in redemption - "broken through the darkness", "I can't contain the joy you bring to my life". Medium pace, simple, building to the strong "You're my God!" From Melbourne, Victoria.

953 With Open Arms - Brad Evans
A slow song building gently to the central thought "You're the love of my life". Not difficult. From Melbourne, Victoria.

954 Lift Up Your Eyes - Henry Seeley and Nathan Rowe
