The songs are as follows:
1034 I Believe In The One Key: E Jud Field and Brad Evans
A fast, positive song with a unique feel. Inspiring faith in the midst of adversity.
1035 King Of Glory Key: E Chris Tomlin and Jesse Reeves
An up-tempo, impacting song based on the favourite passage Psalm 24:7-10: “Who is the King of glory…?” The words “There is one God” are a solid statement of faith in our shaky world.
1036 Tell The World Key: F#m (A) Jonathon Douglass, Joel Houston, Marty Sampson
A great youth oriented song – strong, vital, stirring. Looks harder than it really is. Fast.
1037 Strength Will Rise As We Wait (Everlasting God) Key: A Brenton Brown and Ken Riley
Based on Isaiah 40:28 – 31 – “they who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” The verse seems initially cautious but leads into a powerful sweeping chorus that lifts faith high. An excellent song.
1038 Who Can Know? (I Stand In Awe) Key: D Martyn Layzell
This song carries hints of Job 38:4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?” Totally God-focused worship song. Verses are fairly quiet, building strongly into the chorus. Medium pace.
1039 Jesus, You Are Mercy (Jesus, You Are Worthy) Key: C Brenton Brown
A good communion song, medium pace. Excellent words that focus on Jesus’ sacrifice. Chorus based on Revelation 5:12; “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom …”
1040 Let Us Adore Key: G (or F) Reuben Morgan
A lilting, medium paced song calling us to worship God.
1041 There’s No Condemnation Key: A Simon Brading
Make sure you sing this song. The words are sorely needed but rarely found in songs – from Romans 8:1 – “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…”. Medium pace with energy.
1042 God He Reigns Key: G Marty Sampson
A strong, anthem-like praise song. Medium slow.
1043 Amazing Love Key: F (or E) Mike Hohnholz
Five lilting verses and a strong chorus – content reminiscent of the great hymn “Amazing Grace”. Cross focused.
1044 I Believe In The Cross Nolene Prince
Medium slow. Focusing on the Cross and what it meant and what Jesus did for us. Suitable for communion.
1045 Let Everything That Has Breath Key: E Matt Redman
A fast, popular song. Up-tempo, strong, encouraging us to praise God and focus on him. Good opening song.
1046 Though I Walk ( You Reign) Key: Bb Simon Brading
Medium slow, beginning with our everyday trials then turning to God with a mighty faith building chorus: “You reign!”
