NEW ENHANCED CD
Some Great New Features - Please Read!
A practical; feature of this release is the addition to the normal audio CD (and the split track CD) of the resources that, in the past, have been on our CD ROM.
These are copyright cleared words (text files, plus words formatted for use with the projection programme "Presenter") PLUS Bb/Eb transposed music.
In simple language, - if you buy the CD (or the split track CD) you now also receive on the same CD the words of songs for projection (data projection or make your own OHPTs - no licence required) PLUS print your own transposed music (two copies). (Great if you play trumpet or sax or one of those weird instruments.)
This change has also brought a change to the music book. Recent music books have included many pages of OHP masters which could be used only with the appropriate CCLI licence. Because the words are now available on the CD - no licence necessary - we have decided to drop them from music books from now on. The cost savings have enabled us to stave off a price rise that was planned for this issue.
For those people who enjoy the blessings of life without a computer, we do apologise if this makes life hard for you. However, this is what friends are for. Just take your CD to a friend - it is not a difficult task to print out the words for transparencies.

Evangelical Raps Contemporary Christian Music Movement
In a recent interview with the "Australian Presbyterian" (May 2002), Dr Michael Horton, associate Professor of historical theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, California, president of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, editor of Modern Reformation magazine and noted author of more than a dozen books, lamented the state of the evangelical world today. While music was not the primary focus of his interview, he singled out a number of factors, ministries and movements including "the Church growth movement, the contemporary Christian music movement, and a lot of other efforts that seem to say: 'Hey! Salvation really is the work of man; revival is really the result of human effort and growth of the Kingdom really depends on how cleverly human beings can organise evangelistic crusades.'" APOLOGIES
Thankyou for your patience with us when we made the transition from Dingley, Melbourne, to Kennedy International in Sydney.
We had several hiccups in the process, compounded by staff holidays just prior and also some computor failures. Some emails may have been lost and a few accounts and orders delayed or gone astray.

Bulletin bloopers
Scouts are saving aluminium cans, bottles and other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children.
The pastor will preach his farewell message after which the choir will sing "Break forth into joy".
Today's sermon - "How much can a man drink?", with hymns from a full choir.
Weight watchers will meet at 7pm. Please use the large double door at the side entrance.
Please keep a close watch on your children as they play outside. Several snakes have been seen around the edge of the woods. Our Easter Egg hunt is this Saturday at the church.
