"RESOURCE" RELEASE.
DUE EARLY NOVEMBER
Peter Wagner has noted ten characteristics
of unusually blessed churches. One of them is a new worship
style. This style, he says, is highly participatory. It uses
various instruments and much creativity including dancing.
People kneel, lift hands and participate in extended times
of worship, singing and rejoicing.
It has been our privilege to search
out and publish the songs that have been an ongoing characteristic
part of this kind of worship. This release, "Battle Cry",
adds another thirteen songs to the collection.
It was recorded at the Christian
Resource Centre in Heatherton, Melbourne, a church that has,
since its birth, encouraged people to worship God from their
hearts using a variety of forms. During most services, small
children dance to the songs at the front of the church as
the rest of the people sing and worship.
The songs chosen are the "best
of the best" from Australian and world-wide writers; songs
chosen for their God-focus, congregational suitability and
contemporary style. They are released in CD, cassette, music
book, split track, words only, sheet and midi files. The CD
contains pdf files of Bb/Eb versions and text files of words.
The songs will be sung by thousands
of Christians and distributed in Australia, new Zealand, Malaysia,
England, Kenya and Russia.
